Meet the QPF Management Team

Leigh Crain – Founder

With over 45 years experience in the banking and finance industries, Leigh established QPF in 1977 after lengthy stints with Custom Credit, CBC and AGC. Recognising the value of good service coupled with strong relationships, Leigh built QPF from the ground up. Through our commitment to these core values the business is now recognized as one of the largest privately owned brokerage houses in Australia. Leigh remains a shareholder of QPF with his experience being an invaluable asset to the business.

 

Andrew Crain – Director / Finance Broker

After completing a bachelor of business with QUT in 1999, Andrew joined the family business to embark on a career in finance broking. Specialising in vendor relationships, Andrew has formed strong bonds with key partners such as Eagle Boys Pizza and Pickles Auction Group. Andrew has been instrumental in growing the QPF branch network along the eastern seaboard.

 

 

Matthew Crain – Director / Finance Broker

Specialising in the transport, earthmoving and medical sectors, Matthew has built a loyal client base through personalized service and a strong referral network of accountants and vendors. Matthew started with QPF in 2006 after 5 years university study and 6 years as a qualified radiographer. In addition to managing a client base, Matthew also oversees the human resources and infrastructure of the group.

 

 

Peter Schampers – Director / Finance Broker

As National Sales Manager for the group, Peter is one of QPF’s longest serving brokers, with over 15 year’s experience. Peter has accumulated a large and diverse client base; in particular his close ties with International Gaming Technology (IGT) has enabled him to gain market dominance in the gaming sector. With a strong sales background, Peter plays a key role in developing trainee brokers and assisting with securing new vendor relationships.

 

 

Mark Crain – Director / Finance Broker

After graduating with an International Business degree, Mark embarked on a career in corporate finance with NAB and Mercedes-Benz Finance, where he rose to the position of General Manager, Sales & Marketing, for their NZ operation. In 2008 Mark joined the family business; developing a strong client base and establishing a number of broker partnership models with national vendors and financiers. Mark manages lender relations for the group and has been instrumental in growing and developing QPF’s lender panel – one of the cornerstones of QPF’s ongoing success.

 

Dave Gray – Group Credit Manager

With over 20 years experience in various roles at AGC/Westpac, Dave brings a wealth of knowledge to the QPF team. As General Manager and Head of Credit, Dave oversees the day-to-day transactional business of the group, provides credit support to the network of QPF brokers and assists with the management of lender credit policies.
