QPF were very proud to receive the Capital Finance Australia’s National Broker of the Year award at a recent event in Sydney NSW.

Capital Finance (CFAL) is Australia’s largest independent financier and a subsidiary of Lloyds Bank TSB (UK). Their 2011 Dealer of the Year gala award dinner was held at the Intercontinental Hotel in August with Finance Brokers from all across Australia.

These prestigious awards are judged on a number of criteria including; volume of business written; profitability; ease of doing business; and advocacy.

QPF’s Andrew Crain graciously accepted the award on behalf of the Group from CFAL’s Craig Edwards and sees this as a great example of the Group’s success in aligning with Lenders who share the Group’s core values. “QPF has long held a strong relationship with Capital Finance and it is indeed both a great honour and pleasure to receive this award on behalf of our dedicated staff and brokers.”

With such a solid partnership with one of Australia’s leading lending companies, Andrew is positive about the future, “We are excited to be receiving this recognition in our industry and are looking forward to working with CFAL for many years to come.”

QPF and CondonTreasure Accountants recently joined forces to offer QPF Finance services and products to their expanding client base. Through this initiative, QPF Finance will place brokers into the Roma, Rockhampton and Maroochydore offices of CondonTreasure.

We see this as a very important strategic alliance which will expand the products and services we can offer to our clients.

This will allow direct access to a QPF broker for all CondonTreasure’s accountants and their clients to assist with future funding requirements.

“We see this as a very important strategic alliance which will further expand the products and services we can offer to our clients” says Rory Condon, CondonTreasure’s founding partner, Rory Condon.

With the recent devastating floods affecting a wide range of businesses in Queensland, QPF Finance Group decided to raise funds for some of our worst affected clients. For the month of February all of our brokers contributed $50 for every finance transaction settled and QPF Head Office matched these contributions on a dollar-for-dollar basis. Pleasingly we raised a combined total of $14,600 which was a fantastic effort.

As a group QPF decided to split the funds four ways in an attempt to direct the money to some of QPF’s clients who needed it most. As some of our offices are located in severely affected areas, the decision was made to allow each of these branches to nominate a client they felt needed immediate financial assistance.

QPF Brisbane Office - $3,650 donated to the Eagle Boys Dayboro store, a premise which was completely submerged in the QLD floods. The owner of this store unfortunately had lost all of his equipment and, with his insurance claim rejected, had been left to personally fund the new fit out and replacement equipment.

QPF Chinchilla Office - $3,650 donated to a local earthmover who was just getting back on his feet after his house was flooded twice. An excavator he had recently finished paying off was also flooded and needed major repairs.

QPF Wide Bay Office - $3,650 donated to a local farmer whose first crops were completely destroyed. The farmer also lost all of his irrigation equipment and needed to replace a number of property fences and gates.

QPF Gatton Office – $3,650 donated to the ‘Grantham Flood Relief’ fund. This fund was set up locally to assist in the rebuilding of the Grantham community – an area which was badly devastated by the floods, leaving many people without loved ones or homes.

Thank you to all the QPF brokers who supported this initiative. Our thoughts and best wishes are with all the families and businesses affected by the floods.
