The Annual Golf Day is a great opportunity for us to thank some of our lender partners and clients for their continuous support and business. This year we had 28 teams with 130 guests.

We would also like to thank our other non-lender sponsors, which included Langford’s Jewellers on the 3rd and Crush Fine Wines on the 16th.

Langford’s Jewellers offered guests the chance to win men’s and women’s Rolex watches if they could sink a hole-in-one on the 3rd, or a Tudor Watch for nearest to pin. Dan Madden from Madden Electrical was the lucky winner of the Tudor Watch valued at $3000.

On the 16th, Crush Fine Wines proudly hosted a wine tasting marquee offering Bellarmine Sauvignon Blanc, Forrest ‘The Doctors’ St Laurent & Forrest ‘The Doctors’ Riesling. We also held a Blind Wine tasting competition, where each team had a chance to guess the correct type, region and year to win a bottle of vintage wine. QPF donate $5000 to assist disadvantaged children

Sep 12, 2014

QPF Finance Group continues to support Student Care Welfare Queensland (SCWQ), this year with a $5000 donation to assist in providing crisis intervention and counselling to disadvantaged Queensland children.

The Student Care Welfare organisation offers tutoring and support to homeless children, sexual abuse victims and children in domestic violence refuges, while working to fill the gap in the welfare net through the provision of on the ground assistance where needed.

The ‘Talking through Toys program’ designed by SCWQ Counsellors is highly effective in working with children who have been the victims of abuse and violence, allowing them to feel safe and to separate somewhat from the pain and fear that comes with talking about their experiences.

Charles Wheeler of SCWQ accepted the $5000 donation from QPF Finance Group Director Peter Schampers. This is the third year QPF has donated to this wonderful organisation. Last year our donation went towards further research into youth issues, tutoring & support to children in domestic violence refuges and providing positive affirmation diaries and artworks to disadvantaged schools.

QPF Finance Group is proud to be able to assist in improving the lives of young people in South East Queensland. For more information on SCWQ, please visit or call the office on 07 3122 8550. SCWQ is always happy to provide interested parties with more information on how you can help.
